Servicing Costs for MG EV ZS Trophy

Was quoted 3 year plan from dealer I purchased from at a total cost of £622.44.

A dealer 12 miles away has quoted £330.13 almost 1/2 the cost!

I was quoted £399 for 3 year plan at Nathaniel Cars South Wales

Invicta result - a new garage to service by 3 year old ZS EV
Arrive Invicta Motors Maidstone at 12:57 sign paperwork ask penetrating questions hand over keys take a seat, log on to free wifi and eat my Waitrose meal deal.
13:39 car driven off Invicta parking lot.
14:33 car finished.
Total servicing time 54 minutes.
Cabin reeking of ‘fragrance’ as there has been a complementary clean/disinfect of the aircon.

Service elf said don’t need a main dealer to do the services but all parts used must be genuine MG.
I asked when the new MG 5S will be available to drive (the Invicta forecourt was black with unsold inventory mostly ZSs). The salesmen have been ‘on a course’ but no sign of the new model.

Although Maidstone is a bit further from me than Ashford, I did get a good response from their service manager when I was trying to resolve the battery shut off problem I had.

I shall get a quote from them when my next service is due, which will also be my 3rd service. Not sure about MOT, lots of places give a discount locally, and it has no bearing on the warranty. I'll maybe get a few local quotes for MOT and see if they will match it if they do the service.
