Currently sat at a 350kW Ionity charger and only getting 26kW.

Highest charge speed I've had recently is 36kW, but most chargers getting 31kW max. Doesn't seem to matter the temperature, battery %, or make of charger, always the same, around 26 -36kW.

Anyone experience the same and know what the problem is?

I have a mk1 2019 ZS EV, 46,000 miles.

Balanced the battery recently too.

It sounds like you do a lot of rapid charging. How long did the battery balance for last time?

I'm guessing that you might need more time balancing.

Another possibility: the early Mark 1s had a firmware fault that caused a problem with balancing; if I recall correctly, it actually made the balance worse rather than better. Perhaps your car missed out on that update? If so, you need to get it done as soon as possible, and then it will take weeks of balancing to get the cells balanced properly, thereby recovering your charging speed and possibly some range at low SoC.

Search this forum for discussions on balancing.

Edit: Don't assume that the dealership will be aware of this and have updated all the relevant firmware at the last service.

Edit 2: Consider using the eZS app and a suitable OBD-II dongle to find out exactly which firmwares you have. Then you might be able to compare with what others report as the firmware version that fixes this issue.
