Slow to initiate charge session at public chargers

Anyone else find the MG5 slow to initiate a charge session? What ever the time limit on the app is the car always seems to go right up to the limit before the session actually starts - sometimes its 1.5 minutes. Is there anything I can do to get this going a bit quicker?

Edit: The most common networks I use are Osprey and Gridserve. I thought it was a car thing, but maybe this is a network thing?‍

DC charging - the most common networks I use are Osprey and Gridserve. I don't feel like there's much difference between these two.

On DC, mine generally takes about 1 minute to start the charge.
