Solar mode on ev.energy app

Has anyone with panels tried this new software feature on their ZS and Rolec? How effective do you find it at biaising charge toward solar over the grid?

Does it go on and off continuously, thus falling foul of the charging ECU shutting off permanently once the charge has ended, that is until the car is unlocked?
