(Solved) iSMART Secondary Account

I've tried to use the Secondary Account setup in the iSMART app and I'm confused as to how it is supposed to work.

I've filled in the form by setting Permanent.

It has already filled in the vehicle and VIN

Then it asks for name and phone number. Although apparently you can use an email address here too.

But trying an email address or my wife's phone number just gives.

"Authorization Failed: The user is not registered, please ask to register and try again."

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do here?

Solved: I just needed to register an account before adding it to my account. Tested and it works.

I tried creating a secondary account as an email address ... when trying to add that account as a Family account the app wouldn't let me proceed without also entering a phone number. (I presume selecting Friend will be likewise). That is stupid, as I didn't register the other account as even having a phone number.

My main account has just a phone number (no email). I created a secondary with just an email (no phone number)

Then I'm perplexed ... the Authorise button will not activate for me unless I add info in both email and phone fields.
