Some interesting conclusions about battery life

But you do not know how much you lost on the maximum of your battery? They all lose some, surely after 170k km.
I immagine it lost something , but what it lost must be minimal .

Agree, but to be fair, don't give a Monkeys. 🐒🐒 To busy enjoying it, I've never given it a Second thought. 🤔🙂👍

My MG4 XPower has never been great at working out the range. Started a journey over the weekend with nearly 20 miles clear and about 30 minutes later it was stating below the range I required. I know, it was winter, but surely the software could compensate. Yes, I know there are a lot of factors to it. Anyway, a quick stop at an unlocked Tesla Supercharger sorted it. I was impressed as first attempt at using one and got 148kW speed.

As to battery life, I have just bought a 5 year old Nissan Leaf E+ (62 kWh battery pack) and I was surprised to find it had 100% battery life. I was expecting around 90%. Managed to speak to the original owner, as email address was on old service information, and he stated that it had never been fast charged and only ever charged to 80%. As this is effectively a second car for the household, I think I am going to try and continue that idea. Plus it has CHAdeMO so won't be looking to fast charge it as slow compared to MG4.

Did a 5% to 100% three times in a row over the last 3 weeks.
SoH rising steadily now at 96.25% ☺️
Was 94% then 95%.

Today charged to 100% on DC power alone while shopping at Sainsburys.
It stopped when OBD2 reported 99.9% charge - car was showing 100% for a while and charging at 3kW then stopped.
Didn’t perform equalisation.
Drove home which used 2% charge then plugged into granny will see how long it takes to equalise.
