SOS warning

Hi all
I just get a SOS warning. First in yellow, then in red?
After 2-3 minutes it disappeared.
No message in app!?

Any one experiencing this phenomenon ?

Perfectly "normal" for the MG4. (Mine anyway!?)

Mine does this at least once a week.

An update to R46 made no difference to this 'glitch' in my particular case.

Always back on next trip out.

Yup have had an SOS warning once before in my car. Put it down to software glitch or no phone signal when the car booted up so SOS system boot up sequence could not complete.

I had this for a few months, at least once every 30 minutes. It had loads of updates on the way but the final update which fixed it is described here:

I had that from day 1. 8 months in, dealer took 4 visits, one antenna change, and finally a comms module change to get SOS working. New module works fine, iSMart now doesn't work, so another dealer trip this week

Incidentally it also improved iSmart operation considerably. I still get plenty of bad reads on an android phone, but it no longer fails permanently and so I no longer need to go and prod the car to kick it back in to life.

Yes. In my case it was a data allowance restriction so they had to reconfigure the onboard connectivity.

Now it still fails but quite rarely, once every couple of weeks or so rather than every journey.
