They need some hard braking every so often to really get the pads biting onto the discs (both front and rear). There's plenty of posts about this. Also the rear discs getting rusty from little use.
It should also help your new pads bed in.
It is general EV advice from many owners (all brands) to try and do this weekly.
Mine have been OK over Summer but definitley need a good braking session after this cold wet weather and little brake use. I use a quiet dual c/w and on the lowest regen brake very hard from from 70mph twice in a row. Seems to work and clean up the rusty discs and stop the sqealing ?
Mine had an irritating squeal when reversing for the first couple of weeks but have bedded-in having done a few hundred miles and some occasional hard(ish) braking and now all seems good.
