Squeaky dashboard.

You are very welcome.
It will do the very same thing on the MG.
Ask me how I know !.
On my wife’s car, you can lift up the wipers with no problem.
Try the same thing on the MG and you quickly see why this does not work !.
A paint touch up stick is the fix and a lot of cursing ? at my stupidity at the time.

This is what I used.
Screwfix is your friend !.
Remember to shake up the can for ages, before you use it.
Top tip !.
Spray some on the hinges of your charging door, this will prevent it from squeaking when you open it.
Yes - It will happen in good time ?.

Hi @Kieron101 .
You could try using silicon grease mate.
It’s just a bit fiddly to get it between the gasket and the glass.
Oh …… by careful not to get the grease close to your wiper blades or it will transfer to your windscreen !.
DON’T try lifting up your wiper arms with the bonnet closed and the arms in the park position or the arms will foul the bonnet and scratch the paint off the back edge of the bonnet !.
Other members have done this while drying down their cars after washing it !.
If you think that the wipers arms are likely to get in your way, put the wipers into the “Service” location before your start.
I guess you could gently easy back the gasket a bit of a time with a plastic card, then using a very small paint brush, apply the grease with that ????.
The nozzle on a spray can it just a bit easier to get in the void created by the plastic card etc.
Good luck ?
Maybe a bit of bike chain wet lube? Doesn't wash away and comes with a small nozzle to apply.

Ha! I’ve done my time with noisy kids, mine are 16 and 20 now so a bit quieter.
Haha, lucky you. Wait till you get grandkids, then it's back to square one (worse if anything, cos your tolerance is about half what it used to be :) ). Luckily, poor hearing compensates. I love them dearly, of course.
