Hey guys
Couple of questions

After an alignment does the steering angle sensor need to be rest on the 5?

My rears are out of line I assume as they are fixed this is just the way it is.

I have had the alignment done twice and it still feels slightly out, nothing damaged, pulling a tiny bit left but not all the time, just wondered if there is a steering angle sensor that needs resetting.

Thanks all

The steering alignment should be carried out at the ball joints with the steering wheel held in the straight ahead position, so there should be no resetting of anything required.

When you say the rears are out of line, how much and which measurement is/are the issue?

Ok my old merc you needed to reset the steering wheel angle sensors. Seems like they just did a shit job.

Sigh

In terms of the rears a four wheel alignment (hunter) shows them slightly out of toe. I have had this on civics with fixed rear wheels before. Just seems like a thing.
The rear tyres aren’t wearing so not really too worried

When the wheel alignment is set up the ADAS needs to be recalibrated (unless you have an early 5 SR without ADAS). This is a job for the dealer really. Some of the fast fit chains have the equipment too but we found the dealer was cheaper for doing the wheel alignment.
