Steering column universal joint collapse.

Hi everyone, my MG HS Phev has been a joy to own until now the steering column intermediate universal joint collapsed before Christmas and it has been at the MG service center in Weston Supermare ever since then they seem unable to get two bolts to fit the new union MG parts cannot seem to deliver has anyone else had a similar problem. Customer services are no help and a hire car has not been provided.

Incredibly poor service
If you could get the part number for the bolts perhaps you could do your own investigation?

Push for a hire car - if MG cannot supply the parts the your dealer can apply for a hire car from them.

MG UK are very poor when it comes to customer service, ask to have the matter escalated.

Unfortunately that sounds about right. Absolute shite service from MG. I don't believe for a second, they can't get hold of 2 bolts. Kick up a stink. And demand a hire car. Sounds like you've been more than reasonable. Good luck.
