Hi guys
I got my 2021 PFL a month ago and for the most part I think it's a great car but I have an issue that feels to me like a fault but wondered if others have the same thing.
When turning the steering wheel I sometimes feel a click like there is something loose. It is really odd as it's not consistent or repeatable but happens most times I go from lock to lock and doesn't seem to matter what speed I'm doing.
I've now driven over 2000 miles and as far as I can tell it's not getting any worse so I'll probably wait until it's being serviced but thought I'd ask here.

Thanks

Search for many discussions about this. Sometimes this is benign, sometimes it's a dire safety issue.
Thanks, I should have searched before asking.
Here is a great thread on the subject but make sure to read the whole thread before doing anything.

Never heard of this on MG5.
It was a common fault on the ZS.
New steering columns were fitted under warranty.

Just an update on this in case somebody comes across this thread.
I finally after 6 months figured out what the odd click is and you're going to laugh.
It's a loose(ish) fitting horn/airbag on the steering wheel. I was taking a photo of the mileage and consumption and while resting my hands on the horn it moved and made the click.
It feels like the unit is held in with spring clips and they're fighting against each other so it's not seated properly and when it moves around it does so with a distinct click. This would account for the completely random nature of when it happened.
