That first picture reminds me, I bought fangs for Caliban and haven't fitted them yet. Tomorrow is looking good weather-wise. What's the best way to get them to stick?

Thoroughly clean the area your sticking the fangs to, with Meths if you have some or alcohol will do. Make sure they are straight, press down firmly. Hey presto you've been Fanged. Stand back and admire. Should look good on the Smurf mobile. Needless to say pics will be required. ??

And..... depending on the ambient temperature, warming fangs and bumper with a hair-dryer will ensure excellent adhesion. ?
 
Forecast temperature for the afternoon is 15C so I may try the hairdryer. I had the car washed on Tuesday and it's not been driven much since, but I'll clean the area. I was thinking that green stuff they sell to clean window glass might be appropriate.

Can't wait to see it when you're done ?. I've now got so used to it with them that when I see one without it feels like something is missing ??

As an afterthought here in Germany you are not allowed to wash your car on the street or anywhere the resulting water can get down the drains, which means the local car wash does a roaring trade (we have 4 in my local area) all of them have to filter and clean the water used to wash the cars before it is disposed of. Just washed and polished mine this morning, sorry no pics but it does look nice hehe.

This is not going well. I got the strips of tape on to the back of the fangs, and cleaned the relevant bit of the car, and got the hairdryer out, but then realised that picking the red backing plastic off the double-sided tape was more of a fiddle than it looked. Eventually brought the fangs back into the house to do it because it was spitting with rain. Now having a coffee waiting for the rain to go off.

Oh no. Yup, the double sided tape is fiddly. I bought some 3M just to be sure. I mean I trust Chinese products and all (drive the car, 3M probably made in China anyway) but old habits due hard. Difficult to line the 3M exactly where the original was too.
Hope your rain stops soon ?
 
Mission accomplished, eventually. The rain went off for long enough for me to finish the job, and get the footwells and mats vacuumed and the interior given a wipe over.

Behold, Caliban, now with added attitude. I think it suits him.

My fangs came just as bare plastic, with a reel of "M" supertape (not 3M) for me to manage as best I could. I just stuck most of the reel in appropriate-looking places and it all seemed to stick all right.

Actually I think this mod is the absolute bees' bollocks.

No, fair enough, each to their own.
I was surprised by how much I like the black / red with mine. I kept the chrome for a while after purchasing the black ones. Then was quite hesitant about actually putting them on when the time came.
Love 'em now though and wouldn't swap back. Very pleased with the overall look

I prefer the chrome badge with the fangs.
 
I'm not keen on the fangs but would consider covers for the grill bars like these but all 3 of them in red to match my car.

The trouble is that you seem to have to buy three sets to get three of the same colour and when I looked at it, it didn't seem worth the cost. I want the dark blue ones. Maybe we need to find someone who wants the light blue ones and make a group purchase!

I don't get what anybody would want those colours on an EV.

The colours aren't quite right, but that's just Ali Express ripping off BMW M division?
