Token Expired every. single. day…

Fed up with this to be honest…getting Token expired all the time lately, sometimes twice per day.

If I didn’t have the password saved I’d probably stop using the app.

iPhone 15, fully up to date, as is the iSMART app.

Have tried clearing the cache but it’s made no difference whatsoever. Not sure if there’s anything else I can try, but certainly open to suggestions.
 
Do you have another device such as an ipad that you could install the app and sign in with the same login details. If that has the same issue that will confirm the issue is not at the device end?
 
I had this a few weeks back, I finally uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I am on Android.

Too be honest I rarely look at the app

Good idea! I’ll give that a go, although I’ll maybe try the uninstall / reinstall route first, as suggested by @tsedge
 
You can only be actively logged into one device at a time. If you log in to second device the first one is logged out....unless I have missed a functional change?

Exactly. Hence why I asked if logging in on multiple devices or using the HA integration

If you log in on the HA integration or log in on another device then you will get logged out on the 1st device and a token expired message when you next open the app on the 1st device
 
OK, I get it. Further up I asked if he had another device to set the app up on to test it, so I was under the impression that at the moment it was only on his phone.
 
You’d be correct, it is only on my iPhone. I don’t use any other devices to access it.

You don't have anything on your phone to auto-flush app caches, do you?
Not that I’m aware of. I’ll check that, but I’m not aware of anything. It’s odd as it never used to happen. Certainly not as much as it does at the moment!

Wonder if it’s because I have the mobile number bound, and not an email?

Yep, no one else has the details, or access, and the password would be unlikely easy to guess

Just to update - deleted the app completely from my phone, reinstalled it and it had my phone number pre completed in the login screen…makes my think it doesn’t properly uninstall, so I’m not sure that will make any difference!
 
Perhaps the details were still cached somewhere in IOS...as per password manager/auto fill in android.

It's suck it and see time.

If not then this is becoming a bit of a faff...delete app, clear app login memory within IOS and cache then re-install?

Or try it on another device first perhaps?
