Does anyone know how to stop the short trip counter re-setting. I want to record the mileage for a couple or three days, but it seems to randomly re-set.

The short trip resets after a few hours, you will have to use the long trip counter.

Yes, I thought that was the case. If I use the long trip counter the GOM resets. All a bit pointless really.

The GOM doesn't reset it just hasn't any data to use for it's calculation.
