I had to do a trip to Bristol from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire, 189 miles each way. Our MG5 was charged at home to 100% and I set off there on Wednesday Afternoon, staying in the delightful (not) Days Inn at Michaelwood services. I made it there with ease and I was pleasantly surprised to find about 30 rapids on site. I used the Gridserve ones which were flawless in operation and charged back to 80%. About 60 miles this morning to get to my destination (eBay purchase) before setting off back home. A brief topup at Hopwood services (there must be easily 60 Rapids on that site) and then straight back to Gainsborough.
The whole trip, average speed 52 mph, 4.3 miles / KWh which feel is really good for the size of the MG5, I did have AC running quite cool to keep me awake as well.
There was no need for anyone to suffer Range Anxiety if the last 2 days experience is anything to go by.
