For those that read and commented on the above topic from last week.
Whilst my problem was resolved with the tyre on my car repaired, or my very helpful dealer MG Glyn Hopkins Mill Hill, offering to fit another tyre from another car if it couldn't be repaired,. My concern was the lack of help from MG UK Customer service, as to how to source what would be deemed to be a suitable replacement to the tye unavailable outside of Australia tyres the MG3 HYBRID comes fitted with.
For anyone needing another tyre MG UK have told me as long as its tye same specification 195/55 r16 87h that will be fine, something I would add many on here said as well. But being quite fussy I didn't want to mix tread patterns, and to that end I have done some digging and found a tyre with what see5 a similar tread design:-

Matador MP47 Hectorra 3 195/55 R16 87H

This tyre crucially is the same spec, but as I say the overall tread looks similar if not identical, and at about £70.00 is reasonably good value.
Whilst of course it won't be identical to the original Kuhmo Solus HS63, it looks to my u trained eye as being fairly close.

There is a tyre firm called Camskill that have a huge range of tyres.
Could be worth having a look at their web site.

There may be closer matches:

Many thanks for the replies.
The Matador tyre I found actually was from the Camskill site.
The tyres fitted to the car are the Kuhmo Solus HS63 model, which looks quite a bit different from the HA32.
Whilst the advisor at MG Customer Service explained that the spec only needs to be the same, he seemed out of his depth with no real understanding of the point regarding differing tread patterns. It's not his fault that he has little or no technical knowledge, but it's a poor reflection on MG that there is no route for him to take to be able to refer the problem on.

Sorry if this is turning into a saga, but an important revision to the previous update!
I spoke to Camskill tyres who really know their stuff! The Matador tyre I mentioned in the previous update would not, according to their advice, be a suitable alternative.
They actually recommended another Kumho tyre, the Solus HS52, but said that as that has a different speed rating V instead of H that both tyres on that ‘axle’ would need changing.
However, and some positive news, I made another call to Kumho GB, and they now confirmed that they are aware of this issue, not from MG but through their own investigations, and they have ordered the correct tyres for the car, which will become available from the beginning of July from tyre suppliers!!
