Uncomfortable Left Knee Due to Central Well' Hardness

I have 2 solutions to this, I'm 6'6" tall and have same issues on longer journeys. I have found that moving my left foot to the right of the footrest under the pedals allows me to straighten my leg and doesn't impede the brake pedal even with my size 14 shoes. the second option is to have my left shoe off and I can keep my foot on the footrest with a straight left leg.

Just had a look yes great idea, gosh Upmiinster I lived there very long time ago went to school in cranham.
Ok, I actualy live in Cranham so hello. School would be Hall Mead (my children went there as my Grandson does now) or Coopers? I will let you know the result of fitting my purchase after they arrive later today.?

They arrived and I have fitted one of the pair. Quality is as expected for the price and fitting was super simple. Does the job perfectly for me.?

Looks as if mine will arrive in time for the 200 mile round trip to the dealer, for a service, on Wednesday. Should be a good test.

Just completed about 10 miles this morning. Pad in the position I have it has completely stopped my boney knee touching the hard plastic. Now only my soft calf muscle on the pad. Great result IMHO.?

Are they hot car interior proof? Have had problems with other stick on items that just fell off after a few hours in the sun! There adhesive strength also needs to be very good I'm guessing, to stand-up to constant knee bashing
So far so good. Been quite hot here in the South East on and off. Yesterday unbroken sunshine, car unused, temp in car sitting in direct sunlight very hot, pad still firmly attached. No sign movement when being used. Suspect wear and tear over time maybe but its too early to tell. If this changes at any time I will respond on this forum accordingly. ?

Mine had its first outing at up to 25 degrees (hot for Wales) and stayed in place. Your knee is pressing it in place most of the time. The glue pad seems thick and flexible enough to deal with a textured surface. I'm slightly more concerned as to how cleanly it might be removed, in the fullness of time. There's the second one in the set ready to use if the surface starts to wear.
