Understanding Traffic jam assist

Can anyone explain How Traffic assist works

Under a certain speed (not 100% sure what it is but under 50mph I believe) it will lock onto the car in front and “follow” it - like adaptive cruise but it’ll steer as well, just be careful if the car in front isn’t going the same way as you ?
