Unwanted modifications MG5

Well the insurers said it was repairable and I was told to hang on to the courtesy car until the repair was done. So I filled up with petrol only to receive a call saying they'd now deemed it a write off and my courtesy car would need to be handed back in 24 hours. Cue urgent car search and am now proud owner of an ex-lease Hyundai Kona.
Still no figures for salvage coat or write off value though

Why not another MG5? We are really pleased with ours especially after finishing out it's been serviced up to date so warranty is ok

Loved the MG5 and had our eyes on one of the last ones left at Chorley Motors Blackpool branch. Unfortunately it went a couple of days before we were told ours was written off. We'd looked at the MG4 but insurance was higher. It's also a bit of a hike to the dealership for us. I'd seen other comments on here about the Kona being a suitable alternative and there's a dealership closer by so we went for that.

I went from a 5 to a Kona EV, they are surprisingly similar in terms of buttons. I just miss the boot space.

Boot space was why I picked the Kia e Niro instead of the kona. Very similar size to mg5 slightly smaller boot but bigger rear seat area.
