Update

Is anyone experiencing problems today ?
Mine has an update available as of 1422pm, won’t let me click on it to install so now my car thinks it’s not on and won’t let me into the driving functions to disable the lka and emergency brake! Non of the steering wheel functions are working either.
What was ment to be a nice early finish on a Friday and a great drive home in sport mode has turned into a nightmare! I am a nervous wreck having just drove home in normal mode with LKA determined to scare the living daylights out of me and the emergency brake hell bent on throwing me through the windscreen!

Local dealer can’t see me for 2 weeks !
I don’t think I will survive…… honestly this car when working is a dream, but LKA and emergency brake stuck on and stuck in Normal mode I’m scared to drive the thing !

Errr... I thought the MG4 didn't support OTA updates

How about trying a reboot, AKA disconnect 12V battery for few mins and reconnect?

P.S. sounds like you need the service update for LKA improvements when you get it sorted too.

Thanks Everest, it’s working now!
I will keep the appointment and they can do the update, probs due a service anyway 24 plate 10000 miles …. Feel like driving back to work just to enjoy the drive home again!

Does the update sort the LKA out much ?

Did the reboot fix it or did it randomly start working?

re LKA - sounds like it fixes it pretty much (I don't have MG4, so no idea)... see here... EU MG4 (all variants) - Service campaign SC077 is out, improving lane assist performance
