USB A only, the C does not carry dataCollecting a new Xpower from Hendy in Poole on Wednesday (deal was too good to pass on). Just a quick question, does Android auto work on both USB A and USB C?.
Thanks for confirming which cable to take with me ?USB A only, the C does not carry data
The USB-C port carries data, just not to the computer that handles Android Auto and Carplay. It can do USB music, and the infotainment software scans both ports for USB music and video.USB A only, the C does not carry data
I've got one of these. The only problem is Amazon no longer have them in stock and don't know when they will be.thoroughly recommend this if you want wireless Android Auto: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0D2V5DZC1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can still buy them direct from the supplier: https://dashlink.store/shop/I've got one of these. The only problem is Amazon no longer have them in stock and don't know when they will be.
