I'm also angry with MG, they are busy getting in MG4's and now the face lift version of the 5! If they have space on a boat they should be fulfilling the orders they have outstanding not new models that some lucky people only order a month or 2 ago! Vanarama are a big company and this isn't good for their rep, why aren't they and other lease companies stopping taking more orders for MGs and pulling them off their websites and playing hard ball with MG instead of just letting this happen!! ? we should flood MG with complaints also!

I contacted vanarama and asked them and they provided it. It's a 10 digit number beginning with 30. I have emailed MG again today to ask if my car has a build date yet.

Contacted MG and this is the response I got, how can Vanarama say April if this is the case!!?? This is a load of rubbish!! It depends who they are supplying to not the spec of the vehicle! I ordered an MG ZS EV SE LR.

Please be advised that the delivery ETA varies depending on the car spec. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the exact arrival date until production commences.



We would recommend you to further liaise with your purchasing dealer on this as all the information is transparent among the dealer network.

I can't understand why MG are saying this when I have seen many customers who have ordered the same spec vehicle after me and have had it delivered. It depends on where it was ordered from not what model it is! Wish someone would be honest!!

MG is supplying their dealership orders before any lease orders but certain lease companies have already started receiving their apart from Vanarama

Believe we will be the last in the priority list by looks of it and no one wants to let us know or chase it up either. Happy to announce extension on grants as if they made it happen ?

Considering how many unhappy customers are on this thread, and how vanarama now sponsor this site, I find it absolutely appalling that they say nothing at all in reply to all of our posts of discontent. Truly shocking.

I might call them and vent tomorrow! I'm in the mood for it! I've been ok for a year but I'm now starting to get impatient! Seeing everyone else getting their delivered on the mg ev Facebook group is making me worse!

We also appreciate that for some, this situation comes with the added complexity of having a charge point fitted. Our policy regarding the charge points has not changed since our post on August 15th, stating that we will only charge £350 for the charge points fitted for MG ZS orders that are in the process of being cancelled. This is in recognition of the inconvenience caused which we believe is a fair compromise for anyone looking to cancel their order with us, and hopefully demonstrates our willingness to be fair and reasonable.

We are contacting all our customers directly each month to confirm the information as we have it, and we continue to liaise with MG and pass on any new information they can provide as soon as we have it.

As I have no build date for my car, can you ask MG how long it takes from getting a build date to it arriving in the UK. We're well into November now and I'm very concerned that we're going to miss the grant deadline again! You should be doing more than liaising with MG! Why are you still advertising them so more people join this never ending queue? You should take them off your website until at least 1 of the hundreds of ZS's have been delivered! You just keep moving the expected date in 6 month increments and it seems to me you have no clue at all when these cars will appear! I only hope I am proved wrong!

What, The policy you put in place retrospectively after every one here kicked off and you realised no one was gonna pay you a grand, What would have been fair would be for you to right it off totally considering how much we have all been dicked around over the last year.
