Thank you. I spoke to MG and they can’t book me in until mid June. It has started to work since so I’m going to have to use it as otherwise I have no transport. It sounds like if I break down I’m better off phoning the MG breakdown rather than my garage.

Has anyone else had this error come up before? The car completely shut off and slowed down to a stop. I got out the car locked it and unlocked it which reset it. It happened again about a mile down the road where I did the same to reset. I sent the pic to my MG dealership who claim they’ve not seen it before so I have to book it in. Is this something I need to worry about as I live about an hour from the MG dealership.

Yes, it has been happening with my MG4. It has been into the garage twice, but both times they couldn't find a fault and simply updated the software. I need to book it in for a third time now. Just so you know, you don't need to get out of the car to restart it. You can press the car icon on the infotainment screen, go to the safety tab and then press 'power off'. After that you can press the brake pedal and the car will start again.

I have an MG4 Trophy a week old that had the vehicle system control issue. I took it back. They updated all
The software. Yesterday it was back again. The car has gone back to Vospers Plymouth and I’ve got an identical car in Blue with 5700 miles on loan till mine's fixed. I told them I want to reject the car if not fixed this time.

My brand new MG4 trophy long range arrived yesterday and after charging it today for the 2nd time this message popped up and won't clear despite the car seemingly driving fine. Did anyone find out the fix?

Hi, I've just bought a new MG4 Trophy ER, and after charging, got the same error, but drives fine. Any progress on yours now it's been a few months?
