Vehicle control system fault.

Collected my car Tuesday and on Friday the Vehicle Control System Fault came on. Took it to the dealer who (after some persuasion) plugged it in to check the errors showing said it was flagging lots of charger messages which they cleared and the warning went off.
Got in this morning and it’s back on!
Been back to the dealers and told them the car is getting dropped off on Monday morning and they have it for 2 weeks while I am away on holiday to either resolve or replace the car…..

Ah, they were using the "fingers crossed" diagnostic technique. Doesn't sound like they actually did anything to diagnose the cause

Yes, though to be fair some people have only seen this once and then it has not happened again.

There are lots of possible causes including a faulty Tbox.

Well they have 2 weeks on Monday to diagnose and resolve or I reject the car!

Telematics Box is a communications module in the car that handles communications with the outside world (including over Wifi/3G/4G) and can also monitor parameters within the car.
