So this just happened, on holiday in Cotswolds and literally just set off on a journey and all these warning lights started coming up (see pics), car steering feels light and seems to be pulling to left. Anyone had any experience with this? Currently waiting on AA ?

Just turn the car off for 15 mins then restart. Should be okay.

As these messages are related to centre screen suggest you try power the car up and hold the bottom left button for 10 seconds to reboot the screen.

If this does not work then try holding the start button for 30 seconds.

The important thing when powering up the car is to let everything get to a good condition before selecting Drive or Reverse.

Just to say that I have had this a couple of times where I have “rushed” the car during the start up process and driven the car with no problem. The “safety” features will not be enabled, but the car will still drive. After parking the car up and returning to it, all was fine.

I totally agree with Michael, have you rushed the boot up process of the car ?.
Another idea, have you had any of the 12 volt items running with the car still in the "STANDBY" condition and not the full READY condition ?.
Why - Because numerous fails can be thrown up IF the 12 volt battery status is too low.
What is the current 12 volt battery voltage condition showing, on either he dash panel or in the App on your phone ?.
I would shut down the car and lock it, walk away for about 30 mins, then try to boot up the car without rushing through the process again.
Keep your foot hard on the footbrake until you hear the "READY" bong and only then use the gear selector switch.
If you rush it, the car will complain, trust me !.
If it boots up just fine with no warnings, you are good to go !.
Check your 12 volt battery condition, the AA man is very likely to do the same with volt meter.
If the warnings are still there and your 12 volt battery is shown around 13 volts, you could try the old 12 volt battery disconnect, leave 15 mins and then reconnect.
He may scan / diag for fault codes, but I don't think it that involved to be honest.
Good luck.

That looks to be about the same error messages i get, when i do a reboot of the radio, while i am driving, when it does annoying things that needs a reboot.

Update, AA man had a look, couldn't get his diagnostics to talk to it as it's too new. After test driving he agreed that car was pulling to left. Once I mentioned about people on forum having disconnected the 12v battery, he tried that, now sorted. Don't have a clue what caused it, but hey, it's working now

I second this advice as I had a similar experience, the system doesn’t like to be rushed and selecting drive or reverse before it’s ready sometimes creates this fault, I had some great advice from Les Burrows, if all else fails try the 10mil spanner trick, disconnecting the 12v supply via the negative terminal for a few minutes and reconnect, the spanner is the most useful tool in my car.

This is a common problem with some AA call out’s, many are carrying a good quality general diag computer ? but they can not talk to many EV’s.
Glad the 12 volt battery disconnect worked for you !.
Did he check the voltage of the 12 Volt battery OBTW ?.
Top Tip :- Put a 10mm spanner ? on your shopping list !.
Most MG drivers carry a spanner, along with their 12 volt booster pack and a space saver wheel ! ?.
Normal service has returned, enjoy your holiday !.

How does disconnecting the 12v battery solve the car's pulling to the left???
AA guy was saying if one sensor registers an error (and think because it was a traction control error) then the steering can adjust in order to compensate. Way more complicated than I can get my head round. But steering was defo different.

This is a common problem on here. Driver error these cars don't like being rushed. Foot hard on brake and wait for ready mode.

When the car starts to detect / report a major issue.
If it is single in number, it can deal with it fine.
But sometimes this triggers a chain reaction that corrupts the system and triggers multiple codes and warning lights on the dash panel.
A lot of these warnings are not directly linked to the original fault, but are thrown up in error really.
Due to high volume of pending faults, the computer in the car is unable to deal with the huge influx incoming information, so it will simply lock down the car.

HI ChrisMac, probably won't help much but I had a similar incident with !st generation ZS EV.
Started up but apparently did not press brake hard enough, steering wheel actually turned wheels the wrong way (a bit frightening) and similar to your pics. Luckily still on drive so power off and on again and all OK.

Just wondered do you have any recommendations for 12 volt boosters or will any do? Also can’t the main car battery monitor the 12 volt battery level and keep it topped up should it fall below a certain level?

Under normal circumstances that is exactly what happens. However, IF for any reason the 12v battery is a bit weak, just charge it up a bit with a battery booster.

For your info I've done about 11,000 kms in the last 11 months in my Gen 1 ZS and never needed to charge the 12v battery.

Under normal circumstances, the HV battery will look after the 12V.

A good tip from @Lovemyev is to turn on remote AC for a while using iSMART if you leave the car unattended for a few days. This turns on the HV to run the AC and also has the benefit of charging the 12V battery at the same time :-)

A few e.Niro owners who have been caught out with a flat batteries, have installed a 12 volt battery monitor to the battery.
The SOC of the 12 volt battery can be viewed in real time via an App on your phone.
Not 100% sure, but I think it will notify you is the battery state runs to low.
If you want to use a battery booster pack on other cars, like a petrol or a derv, then I suggest getting a slightly bigger unit.
An EV only needs a small boost, to wake up the car, but personally I would go for a size that has the ability to jump a fossil car.
