What have you bought for your Xpower this week ?

IMG_1503.jpeg

This arrived yesterday £14.84 from AE. I have been using a cable which works fine, but after reading a few posts, thought I would give a wireless adaptor a go.
This advertised for both Carplay and Android, I have an Android phone, so my comments are for that only.

Instructions are straightforward but with very tiny writing.
Plugged in and the car recognised the unit, followed instructions and paired without any issues. I then paired with my phone, having first unpaired from the car. Again no connection issues and Google maps appeared on screen, but message said that Spotify was offline.

I then spent 10 minutes fighting the wi-fi connections on my phone, but no joy. I then spat my dummy out and decided enough was enough! However upon checking the icons on the phone, there was no 4G letters displayed,

I later had another go and the phone worked as it should have done using my data allowance.
I can only presume that there was a temporary phone network error.

Anyway like @Bricktop X PWR I digress.

I subsequently have got in the car a few times and everything seems to be working as it should. Android auto has started up fairly quickly, phone status, maps and Spotify all working.
How long this lasts, who knows, however for £14.84 Im not complaining…..yet…IMG_1504.jpeg

I'm thinking of ordering one of these now m8.

I know it only negates plugging in the phone, but that's one less faff, and will tidy up the cabin a tiny bit. ?
Agree, plus it reduces the wear and tear on the phone’s socket.

Got a V2L adapter today, works fine for a £19 ebay jobby. Tested it with the hoover until the Missus pointed out that I'm paying 57p per wkh at public chargers, which is a lot to run the hoover on when I can run an extension lead from the house.

I'll just use it if we have a power cut.

Probably not going to be doing too many launches with this on top, but I bought this for my XPOWER. Thule wingbar evo.View attachment 28211
Since Mark Cavendish has just retired, perhaps you could invite him around to relive some of his glory days! Maybe turn it around otherwise he'll lose his Raybans . :D

Information for anybody that has bought the jump pack in case of 12v battery failure.

I read on here somewhere that if the 12v battery goes Tits Up on you whilst out and about, it would be a massive Agg retrieving it from the boot.

My solution....

It fits neatly and snugly right next to its patient under the bonnet.

I've (now) wrapped it in a carrier bag, but that's just Belt and Braces, as it doesn't really get wet under there.

Yes, you could leave it it the cabin, but it's just one more thing to hit you in the head should you roll the car.
(Don't roll your car) ?

I keep mine under the passenger seat. The EV6 used to have a frunk, which is where it used to go.

We, Gentlemen, shall never need it.
Upside down or right side up.

I trust wholly in the engineering bestowed upon my car, (Hic) and I truly believe that nothing (Hic) else, (Hic) will ever go wrong again with my car ever, ever, again. Ever.

Right, now where's the rest of my Vodka.........

Wired to the booster under the passenger seat of course ?

Some of you may know that I purchased a Dragy Performance Timing Gadget recently, and had some time to put it to the test on Sunday in the very early AM.

Suffice to say, it is a lot of fun and can take years off you. (Mentally ?)

I have also become the fastest MG4 X PWR in the World, 0 to 60mph, and over the 1/4 mile, according to the Dragy Leaderboard.

My next quickest rival is from Uraguay and I do expect he will try again to be No1.

It is without doubt the fastest (to 60mph) I have ever been, on four wheels, in my own car.
