What to check on a used car?

I'm buying a 2020 MG ZS EV this weekend. Is there anything in particular I need to look at/check?
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Try and get a SOH report on the HV battery. depending on the mileage and how it has been charged it could be under 90%.
Check out the search bar on the forum as there are a few threads on buying second hand.
Is it from a MG dealer?

It isn't from a dealer, no. I've done an AA check on the car and all seems well so far. I'll be seeing it on Saturday
It maybe worth checking on the service history of the car, because the remaining years of the original 7 year MG warranty WILL be still valid, but only IF it has a solid annual unbroken history.
It can be done via a third party garage also under the condition that OEM parts have ben used.
If the annual service chain has been broken, then it will not be valid.
The car is not supplied with a paper service book, but the supplying dealers name maybe printed on the bottom of the number plates or a service sticker maybe attached to the inside of the windscreen etc ?.
Worth a quick check.

new model would not be much more expensive and you get more range ...? There is another thread on the forum (I was also asking the same?), use search to look it up.
annual service by MG dealer is most important; battery SoH too.

p.s. unless 1 owner only, I would not buy it. if not from a dealer, you have nowhere to go to have it fixed if sold defective. how much they want for it and what's the mileage?
