Anyone else had their MG4 delivered with the wheels not balanced correctly?

I had a slight vibration at 65-70mph.

Had the balance checked at the local tyre place - 1mth old and 1k miles - every wheel was out of balance.

2 needed 15g added, one 20g, and one 25g.

The tyre place couldn't believe it could come out of the factory with the balance that far out.

I suppose you asked the dealer to balance the wheels for free
No, because it would take 2hrs out of my day to drive to the dealers and back. And it is already booked in for another issue which is in about 2 weeks time due to their availability.

Not worth losing sleep over. Just pretty poor that the cars come from the factory with wheels a fair way out of balance.

I'm surprised you only felt a slight vibration, maybe the factory balancer was on a loo break and the line moved on and his mates fitted the wheels regardless. After 9 months mine are fine but I can't recall seeing any balance weights even when doing a full clean.

Yes, nothing major, just slight. I thought I'd get them checked and sods law the one that was 25g out was the first one checked ....

The weights used on alloy wheels will be on the inside , self adhesive, so you can only see them if you remove the wheels or they are by an opening.

Yes all four out of balance by a long way, others reporting the same. Still got the dreaded X Power vibes, although better than what they were.

My Trophy extended range was horrible when it came with the Turanzas. I got new Pirellis but even these were bad. Went to a specialist. Right rear was dud. Right front suspicious. No options to balance them. So they replaced right rear only but the car stills stirs my coffee....

In my car (after 3000km) all wheels unbalanced. When I have visited local tyre service (dealer too far from my place) - all 4 wheels unbalanced 15-35g. But ... The rims quality is a disaster... all of them are not centered [up to 3-4 mm !!!!) and I relized that by 10-20km/h You can feel car movements up and down.

Now I feel motivated to visit the dealer.

Are your rims steel or alloy?

With not being centered, do you mean the rims were not aligned properly?
