First of all sorry if my English is sometime poor in vocabulary, I'm froggy ;-)
I do my best every day to improve myself.

I work on a projet who consist to decrypt WDS mg cars.
On this French topic I 've already collect some informations about it.

My main goals are to know where mg's are built. How many factories, assembly lines and so on...

In France we have
Standard (174 Power), Confort (204 power) and Luxury (upper the confort and 204 too)

I already know that:

The wmi comes from . WIKI
the famous VIN is made in 3 groups WMI / VDS / VIS

XXX/YYYYYY/ZZZZZZZZ

LSJWH is for luxury
LSJWH4097PN PN are for Year and Factory

In my collection 409 7 /// 7 is replace by 9/4/X

After PN we have differents pairs of 08 or 15 or 07 or 11 or 08
The first number normally mean color, but for instant I ve not enough datas to match my search

Mine is LSJWH409XPN08 Blue one Luxury

You're right.
My main goal is to find where for that raison.
I worked in a care service and I think it's good to know exactly where a product is made and in which factory to identify troubles, dommages made.

I explain differently

A factory with multiples chain lines
Factory A and chains D R U
All products made by AD or AU are all perfect but AR some are less good.
And if your product comes from AR, we'll be more focus on our product.

Your care service we'll be inform by you to these facts. And normally he should be more focus for recalls.
