I'll take my exclusion from making comments about my 14,000+ miles in 15 months in the MG5 gang gracefully, but hang on - do I see that you are driving "not an MG"!!!!!

Not made the move yet. Still driving 100% dirty diesel. It will probably be a few months at least until I buy, but the MG 5 is top of a very very short list at the moment.

thank you for sharing. That's impressive mileage in 6 months and impressive range too.

Seem ok, pressure is holding well. I think when I do get a chance I'll swap and switch sides over. Should easily get 30k miles from a set of new tyres. Upto Leeds from Colchester tomorrow 220 miles so have planned a stop at Peterborough and just before Doncaster. Driving at my usual speed calculated I should get 165 miles to a full charge...obviously won't be draining it that low!

How are the tyres wearing? I read somewhere of a Taxi operator who had covered over 16,000 miles, but said he was disappointed at the Bridgestone tyres, which were worn out at 11,000.

Wondering whether this is due to the extra weight of batteries or whether he was just unlucky with a poor quality set of tyres

Could be something to do with taxi drivers doing more u-turns than most motorists or just uneven wear due to tyre pressures.
