Hi folks, I'm looking for some new Cyberster owners to join us on the next and forthcoming podcasts to share their experiences.
There is no commitment at this point.
Just asking who has one on order with delivery due in the first batch.
Please reply below.
Thanks.

Received the message, “Your New Cyberster Trophy Has arrived to the UK sitting at the Port at the moment. No arrival date to Showroom yet will keep you informed”

A nice honest update from my dealer this morning:

"None of the Cyberster orders, sold or demonstrator, have been given confirmed ETAs. I spoke with MG yesterday to get a better idea of arrivals, I was told that the delay was due to EU Type approval not yet being officially confirmed. Also every Cyberster is still waiting on two separate software updates. I'm unsure when these will be completed and until we have word confirming things I'll not be giving any false hope!"

Type Approval must have been sorted by now its been around 3 weeks since shipment arrived. Miles stated demos will be arriving at his showroom on week commencing 9th of September. Red tape in UK is insane.

To make matters worse the cars will be sitting in dealers for a while to take those software updates. How much time do they need. 2 weeks?

Thank you. Your previous ICE and EV experience, what motivated you to place an order, and when it arrives, your first thoughts.
Motivation to place an order - I can answer that now. Was already looking for something to drive on my daily commute (rather than the huge family diesel SUV), ideally a 2-seater electric. There's not much out there. Then the styling/originality, and the price - everything ticks the right boxes. Even down to the 3 screen dash, that's just like my work & home screen setup! Finally, the wife & kids loved the look of it and signed off.

My motivation to order the Cyberster when it becomes available to order here in Germany:
I drive a Mercedes SL350 and love this car. But it's a combustion engine. I had the opportunity to test drive a Tesla Model S back in 2015. It was a marvellous feeling to glide along the road without a humming engine.
The Cyberster offers both together, a beautiful convertible in electric and the price is still within my savings. I'm looking forward to signing the order and taking delivery of my yellow Cyberster with grey interior as soon as possible and impressing my friends/girlfriend!
