Winter tyres

I was not surprised,
I only confirmed that the assigned letters are not random,
in fact I have attached the data sheets of the two tyres for the comparison of A, B, C.
I think the difference in consumption is smaller, I have not yet tried ECO.
But what surprised me most is the difference in stability of the car, I noticed it immediately, with certain confirmation in the following days and (I hope) when they have settled well.
I already have half an idea of the Christmas present: I also change the summer ones, putting the Kumho ones back would destabilize me.
I have already eyed a model (which I attach A A 71 db), to mount on the original rims, today I have an appointment with the tyre dealer, for the TPMS update of the valves, I will ask for confirmation on the goodness of the choice.
Nice choice indeed.....only the price is among the most expensive and 71Db (like the Kuomo).

As planned, I went yesterday to the tire dealer, whom I have known for years, to configure the valves (TPMS sensors) of the new wheels: with difficulty, using various tools, but with success.
It seems that there is a winter / summer configuration to set,
but I am looking for more information at MG.

From the tire dealer, I asked for information on the life of new tires (not purchased from him) and he confirmed that they last on average over 40,000 km., but specifying that after 20,000 km. the specific Grip for snow progressively decreases, while maintaining good characteristics on wet surfaces. So he confirmed, as I already imagined, that the catastrophic assertions of 10,000 km. of life, are made by journalists in bad faith, sponsored by other brands.

In fact, as an example, in Italy there are several magazines specialized in testing cars: of the MG3 hybrid +, there are those who speak well of it, those who do not speak of it, those who subtly speak badly of it. I'm sure it's like this everywhere.

Regarding the identified summer tires (A A 71 db.), which I will probably change in spring, at the next seasonal change, it confirmed, for sure, over 40,000 km. in total efficiency.

I travel on average, now that I travel much less, 12,000 km a year: about 4,000 km. in winter and 8,000 km. in summer.
So I'm safely covered for at least 5 years, then I'll change cars.
If I'm happy with MG, and for now I am, I'll take MG again.

About TIRES, useful video:
MG3 HYBRID + | THE STABILITY TEST on dry and wet surfaces

To complete the discussion, I can add that with the new winter tyres, the car has improved significantly, after a positive first impression last Friday, today I tested on a mixed route: city, extra-urban (small climbs and descents), highway with curves (maximum speed allowed in that section, 110 km/h); the result was very positive: the car seems more stable and adheres to the ground, definitely safer.
This means that the car's design is valid, but they saved on some items, including the tyres (probably a compromise), see attachment.
On the other hand, on the same route already done several times (55 km), I found a higher fuel consumption: from 4.4 / 4.1 (results with the original tyres, ECO mode) to 5.00 / 4.80 l./100 km. (new tires, Normal mode), always respecting the road signs.
However, in my opinion, acceptable for better certain driving.
In the next few days I will try the new tyres with ECO mode.

Tests done on sunny / slightly cloudy days;
I have not yet been able to test on wet terrain or worse;
Saturday it was raining, but I drove for a short distance, not significant.
Comments invited.

To conclude the discussion on consumption,
with the new winter tires, same route already tested (reduced to 30 km.) in ECO mode, driving normally, always city, extra urban, highway = 4.3 L./100 km.
So consumption is always related to driving style.
