Wireless android auto/car play for MG4 SE

Hi everyone. I've seen a few posts on here regarding wireless android auto/apple car play dongles and people having issues
I've just bought a carlin kit on amazon. It connects via Bluetooth and connects automatically without issues

There are a few different models but this one is guaranteed to work

My Carlinkit 4 works perfectly on my SR SE as well ?

Apple Carplay has never worked for me in my SE SR. It would connect for a short time and then disconnect. The Carlinkit 4 works 100% of the time and is wireless as a bonus! Would recommend.

Are users of this still finding it reliable please? Specifically anyone using it with AA as opposed to Carplay?

Also my wife and I are going to be sharing use of the car. Is it easy enough switching between phones?

Finally got my Android Auto working.
After five different cables that did not work and a dealer using a latest software update.
I purchased a wireless dongle, on Amazon for £31.95.

In what respect? I don't think the MG4 has the hardware to support wireless AA/CP.

I mean it's a Wi-Fi connection and bit of software, and I'm pretty sure SE infotainment is the as trophy, HW wise...

As my car was at the dealer trying to get it sorted, I purchased the Amazon one at 9pm and was delivered by one the next day on prime. This was with me then to take to the dealer..

If you've connected Android Auto to the car via bluetooth before, it'll remember and try to automatically connect again, possibly totally ruining your connection via the adaptor. Telling the phone to 'forget' the car's bluetooth connection won't work because it's Android Auto that actually remembers it. So you might need to go into the AA app and tell it to forget the car.

Yes, it works like your phone, just a Bluetooth adaptation, good idea really. Should be fitted as standard.
