Wireless android auto?

Has anyone used something like this to make their android auto connection wireless? Did it work? (I don't like having to plug in every time and having a cable there gets in the way).

I have had one of these since July. It works brilliantly. I leave phone in pocket and it connects automatically. Mine is plugged all the time.

Yep. Got one of those. Had trouble with my previous phone as it was 2.5G and the box prefers 5G. now got a 5G phone and no issues.
