Wireless charging pad not working

Hi

I have only just tried my wireless charging pad, I have lugged my phone in until now to get AA.

I have tried the phone without a case in various positions, turn 180° but it will not charge, not even a glimmer of hope just no acknowledgement.

The phone is a Galaxy S24 Ultra and charges every night on a wireless charging stand so no issues there.

The car is obviously switched on and the phone charges when plugged in to the USB port.

Any ideas or do i need to find a competant MG garage?

Sorry, I've got the opposite problem, so when you figure out how you switched it off, pls. let me know ??

You know I looked for software and mechanical switched and couldn't find a damn thing.

Not sure how much I will use it anyway

Did you see this thread? Downgrade wireless charger

It does require disassembly though, I may try it to see if mine is disconnected.

Going out this morning, chucked my phone on the wireless charger same as yesterday and it just worked. I tried everything yesterday.

Let's see how it goes.....

Mine was working when I tried it once, pre R59 software update, but I'm happy wired carpplay charging. Anyone else having issue?

Mines still working fine, the usb port for me isn't powerful enough, not a problem if I'm local but on longer runs I like to have a full charge when I reach my destination, with AA an hot-spot running it barely charges my phone if at all (Samsung S24 Ultra).

That could be a prime candidate for wireless AA and use the 12V socket with an adapter to charge the phone.
