If you didn't have "Driving: MG4" in your profile, people might be less confused.
Yeah that’s the reason someone has chosen to suggest an answer to a question from checks notes November 29th… ?
My bad.

Did I say that?
Hi, been in bed all weekend with the dreaded C19, so was ignoring my phone. Just checked and not a single email or missed call, so the DVSA are being informed tomorrow for sure. As far as Gillanders in Aberdeen are concerned I do believe they have invested in their own diagnostic equipment ,if they have someone who can work it ?
Not at the moment. I've been in touch with MG Beaconsfield, they've booked it back in for the start of June and requested to keep it for a week, also asked if I can try to get video footage of the symptoms.@richlove any progress?

The guy said that there aren't details of which issues the recall addresses (it's not specifically for this speed issue), only what the recall entailsInteresting ... I'll wait and see if my dealer contacts me. (I've not had any such power issues mind).
As one who uses Linux on their PC, the lack of detailed patch notes is a pet hate of mine. The guy said that there aren't details of which issues the recall addresses (it's not specifically for this speed issue), only what the recall entails
Nothing on the government site about a recall other than the super lock oneIs this an official ‘recall’ where all affected cars get recall notices, or is it just a ‘fix’ for the issue that will be applied as-hoc? This has been an issue with past ‘solutions’. Recalls should be official registered and letters sent out (like the locking in problem for example).
Yeah, have a feeling this may be the case :/BCM is ‘battery control module’
Don’t hold your breath or get too excited when you get your car back.
Mine performed like it had never performed before when I got it back with the new drive motor fitted, seriously felt like it had gained 40bhp.
Only took a couple of days for the speed restriction to come back.
