MG4 X-Power waiting area

Aren't the wheels different in some way other than the calliper covers? There are subtle things to do with the texturing of the grey areas on the lower bodywork, but I don't think there's anything that really stands out. (Unless it's in that exclusive green colour.)

The fact it has decent 18 inch alloys, the plastic caliper covers and silver accents on the lower body plastic.
The biggest giveaway is the Matt green paint

Given my experience when driving an XR2 back in the day, the more the car looks like the base model the better. The XR2 was always getting me pulled over and being lectured by the cops about some imagined transgression. Or even booked for speeding. Changed to a Peugeot 306 GTi6 and was never pulled over again. That Peugeot was even faster and nippier than the XR2, but it looked almost exactly like the base-model 306.

Really? I thought that matt green is an "X-Power" exclusive, as orange is to the Trophy
It is only available on the XP but as a cost option, not free - Edit: oh I see what you mean, if it is matt green it must be an XP. Yes, although it might also be available on the ER too, not sure about that.

Matt Green only available on X-Power.

All matt green cars will be X-Powers, but the X-Power also comes in the other colours too, so you can't tell if any-other-colour car is or isn't an X-Power.

All orange cars are Trophies at the moment, but the Trophy also comes in other colours too, so you have to look at the spoiler to see if an any-other-colour car is or isn't a Trophy.

I think the orange will also be available on the X-Power.

So, if it's green it's an X-Power.
If it's orange it's a Trophy or an X-Power.
If it's anything else, if it has spoilers it's a Trophy or an X-Power, if it hasn't it isn't. (Unless some clever-clogs has fitted a spoiler to an SE.)

That's the one where it leaves a red Trophy looking like a kiddie toy in the rear mirror, right?
Yep, that's the one. Looks like we just parked the Red Trophy (in actual fact, Jason had his foot through the carpet, in Sport mode!)

Amazing video, loved it!

Today I just drove my second-ever EV (if you don't count the MG4 I had my test drive on). The dealer gave me a Peugeot e208 as a courtesy car for the day. Don't like it at all. Boring shopping trolley. The MG4 really makes you feel as if you've got a bit of performance there, even if the X-Power can still leave it standing.

For those that have actually seen the MG4 Xpower in the flesh, is the boot really 20% smaller than the std MG4 as some reports suggest (289L v 363L?). I have here two boot pictures from online reviews and I can’t see any difference:
