NOHas anyone got this working on Android yet?
Have you tried:Updated and still doesn’t work ??![]()
Go to the app store and update from thereDidn't work for me, I tapped like mad all over the screen - nothing, could not get past the upgrade message.
You misundersood, we were talking about running the v1 app without updating.Go to the app store and update from there
Not really, but for us in the UK, they've finally put the heated seats on the correct sides of the car!It works, but is there anything new in terms of functions?
The biggest improvement is the digital key on the Home Screen, seamlessly integrated with the usual network key.It works, but is there anything new in terms of functions?
I get exactly the same issue.Took several attempts to update this app then it wouldn't let me log in so changed my password and it eventually after about twenty attempts let me in. Tried to bind the car and after a hour of trying it finally accepted the QR code on the dash and my account details appeared on the car screen. Great I thought and the app seemed to like that and asked me to return to the login but alas all the app wants me to do is bind with the car again so very frustrating and no functionality in the app.
The only way I can get a QR code on the car is to log out, then use the app to log me back in but still asks to bind car.Scan the QR on the infotainment in the car.

I've tried all of the above....Have you tried:
Switching phone off and on again
Connecting to 4/5g or a different WiFi network
request a new vehicle status
Moving the car to a location with better signal
After several attempts to install, I'm stuck in a loop: After successful login, the app wants to pair before releasing the applications. When pairing using a QR code, this message appears: “This vehicle is already bound …”If you log in with your existing account, there's no requirement to rebind your car. It seems like you might have logged in with the wrong or a new account. Ensure that you log in using either your phone number or email address, depending on your initial choice when creating the account.
In my experience, all I had to do was log in with the correct account, and there was no need to rebind the car.
Doesn't work for me - both login methods still revert to KM after login. (I usually login via phone number).I think I saw this mentioned somewhere, can't remember if it was here or fb, but I've just tried it and it seems to work.
If you log in with your email address, the app defaults to KM, if you use your phone number it defaults to miles... (Assuming you use a UK mobile number). I'm waiting for my token to expire to double check but so far...
Make sure you log in with the correct account. As siteguru already said, the vehicle is bound to an account not to the app itself. When started, some people might've made two accounts, one bound to a phone number, the other to e-mail and then bound the car to one of them. Now that you had to login again, it might be possible you used the wrong account and therefore the bind with the vehicle is gone. So double check that. After several attempts to install, I'm stuck in a loop: After successful login, the app wants to pair before releasing the applications. When pairing using a QR code, this message appears: “This vehicle is already bound …”
But for unbound I need the app, which I don't have full access to.
Could this be a solution: I'll do a "Restore on Factory Settings" and hope that this will also delete the vehicle's binding so that I can re-pair.
PS: I drive an MG ZS EV. But unfortunately there is no significant discussion on the topic in this area.
I've been using/playing with it all afternoon. It has been working just like the old app. Pull down to refresh most times on main screen. Haven't left it unused for an hour yet, but expect to have to log in again when I do. Other than that inconvenience it appears OK.
