Did the update sort out the scheduled charging? Mine always starts up as soon as it is plugged in. I then stop it using the app and it then waits for the scheduled time before starting again (as long as I don't open the app again, which can trigger it starting to charge!). It drives me scatty...Our March 23 reg MG4 SE LR went in for its first service. 11,000 miles has only had 3 rapid charges and charging between 35% to 80% with a roughly monthly battery balance to 100%.
11,000 miles and 100% SOH Very pleased with that.Only had a software update for schedule charging ( car would start to charge as soon as it was plugged in) I would check the app and car including the wall charger before plugging in. Still on R16 version.
I suspect that all these tools are doing is trying to do some sort of regression from an unknown starting point.

Thanks. Will try this weekend and let you know.
Hi PeteCThanks.
Well I've just put in my figures into spreadsheet: so at its current degredation rate to get to below 70% (which I believe is the warranty level) will be 280,000 miles - I think @Macadoodle is rightYep, I think these dealer SOH reports are a bunch of bollox personally![]()
Hi Rusty. Thanks for the detailed description of what you're trying. Hope it starts charging at the right time. I'll give this a go next time I charge although I won't hold my breath as my car always starts charging when I plug in and I haven't had whatever update you got.Hi PeteC
I have just finished trying different scheduled charging settings. Before the update it didn't seem to wait for the start time, it just started when I plugged it in. If I clicked finished charging on the app it wouldn't charge at the start time . The one that works now and I've tried it twice is......
Car in ready (Drive mode). Check charging schedule in car and cancel app schedule. Open flap, lock car then plug in cable (blue light is on and then went off). Checked app and the schedule was the same as car. Have plugged car in now and will check up to 00.30am (start time)
Hope this helps.
Just a quick update. I followed your procedure and, as I expected really, it didn't stop the car from charging just after plugging in the lead. It did give me a glimmer of hope as the green light came on but then turned blue again, but 30 seconds later it was back to green! I guess it will be like this until I get whatever update you had. Thanks again for your help.Hi PeteC

I wonder about this too . On my first service on my Pre FL MG5 LR the SOH was reported as 96% . On my second service last week it was recorded at 90% .Yep, I think these dealer SOH reports are a bunch of bollox personally![]()
