Yes. It finally happened. I'd pulled up (Normal mode) at a red light in the left lane of two. After a while, something black with tinted windows and a throaty exhaust pulled up to my right. I didn't make eye contact, as he/she (it was a he, let's not deny it) revved, and started to slide slowly forward. I merely waited for the lights to change, watched as he shot forward with a mighty revving of engine, paused for a beat, and then floored it. Needless to say, I very quickly left the poor soul way, way behind. The week's worth of supermarket shopping I had in the boot took a bit of tidying up when I got home, and it was a minute or two before my heart rate returned to normal. However, in the 6 months of ownership, that was the first time. It was worth the two and a half years pension I sacrificed to buy the car, just for that one moment. Hah! Of course, I now have to die two and a half years early, but it WAS worth it!
