MG Pilot from a double pull on the stalk activates both ACC and Lane Keep Assist ( which on MG Pilot works better than just Lane Keep Assist activated on its own). It makes motorway driving a lot easier.
Are there any steep hills where you are? Visited in Feb, what a beautiful place to live. Let me know about that hill if you find one ?What about OPD, that stops the car until you hit the go peddle. I haven't tried it on a hill, but I'm confident you wouldn't roll back. Next time I'm out I'll try it.

In OPD, I'm sure you will find the 'A' goes green when you stop, holding you on the brakes.
I thought despite being different models, they would behave the same, no?
Do you mean the A button, auto hold? ?
I've never noticed an "A", maybe I'm just not very observantIn OPD, I'm sure you will find the 'A' goes green when you stop, holding you on the brakes.

So far so good, not going for the gear stick quite so much and getting used to the regen thing, it’s just the stopping and starting on a steep hill that I’m nervous about lol, will having it in auto hold be enough!!Pam24, as you have driven manual cars I think you will enjoy driving an electric automatic. I would not wish to go back to manual after using an automatic.
Let us know what you think.
