I'm sitting here waiting for my son, and I'm having a play with infotainment settings. I assume you all have Arkamys system and with virtual sub switched on. Without these 2, the sound is terrible.

Not sure if it's Trophy only, but in settings-sounds, there is a toggle for Arkemys and virtual sub. When you put this on, it will blow your mind. 100% improvement to sound. To be honest, not sure why it's not default on, but another MGism!!

I always mention this when people start moaning about the stock sound!

I play all my music through Android Auto.
One press of the voice key to request music off my play lists or just to put on radio 2 for example.

I'm not an audiophile by any means (or any other sort of phile thankyou @Ian Key ?) but once those settings are sorted to your taste I think the reproduction is very good.

Just found it under voice - I hadn't scrolled down - I didn't change anything as it seems to already be activated for ALL and also the Sub-woofer. So I guess I'm as happy as I was before. Thanks for pointing it out though. I can see how to fiddle with EQ settings here too.
