This morning on the way to work I got a message on the screen saying smart key not detected.

OK, so I had the in my right hand trouser pocket (as usual), I unlocked the car by pressing the handle button and got in, then pressed the brake to get into ready mode and off I went to work, about 10 mins later the message started to flash up on the screen for approx 2 mins and then stop being displayed?

Any ideas? Fob Battery (Only 7.5 months old the car is)

Replacement key fob batteries are only a couple of quid for two from Amazon so it wouldn't be expensive changing it for a new one.
If you swap the keys over so you use the spare key and leave the other in the house do you still get the warning?

I was told by the dealer that the phone and car key should not be in the same pocket. There may be frequency disturbances.
My phone would be dialing someone up or opening apps if I did that, it does it even when it's in sleep mode.

Yup, one time I could not unlock the door by pressing the button on the door handle and it's because I had the key and phone on the same jacket pocket
