Yes, we're in agreement.
Bingo! It's really annoying as there may be a 0-10 second delay after passing the sign. Actually became a bit of a game when driving my boy around.Could be the "speed limit has changed" sound. That was turned on on my Cyberster. Go through the MG Pilot settings to see what's enabled.
On my MG4 the CarPlay buttons appear on the left hand side.CarPlay, I believe on a RHD car, the menu buttons should be on the Right of the screen.
When I plug in my iPhone the buttons are on the left which pushes a fair amount of the screen real estate behind the wheel.
Anyone know how to flip the location of the buttons or do we need to raise as a change with MG
I doubt they'll change that tbh. The info tainment screen is always on the left or center dash. Its just an awkward design with the 3 screen layout.CarPlay, I believe on a RHD car, the menu buttons should be on the Right of the screen.

There is no setting on the iphone. In investigation it appears the swapping setting is in the infotainment system if the manufacturer has enabled. In all cars I have driven that I remember the menu is always closest to the driver. Just need to find the setting.on android you flip it in the settings of android auto. Has nothing to do with the car. I flipped mine right away.
I guess iphone should be able to do so as well.
Agree re clock and one touch roof operation. The dash needs to dim at night too. Being able to permanently turn off the causes of “bongs” - they come back next drive.Automatically increase the display brightness when the roof is down. A brightness setting suitable for when the roof is up is too dim when the roof is down.
Allow the owner to reconfigure the right paddle to provide regen adjustment. Left paddle for regen increase, right paddle for regen decrease. That's common on other EVs and would be more intuitive for anyone driving a sports car used to paddle shifts.
One touch roof open and close would be nice. It's not obvious when you can let go of the roof button when movement is completed. Windows and doors are one-touch, but not the roof.
Display a more prominent clock. The only one I've seen is bottom right of the map, really small.
Make it easier to understand what a bing or bong is sounding for. Found myself confused whether it was driver alert, overspeed, etc.
This was after short drive home from dealer!Went to see the Cyberster yesterday. Quality and paint finish is as good as it gets, very impressed.
One thing everyone is going to be moaning about though, that absolutely needs fixing are the large open holes under the bonnet directly above each wheel arch. I reached my hand in directly onto the top of the tyres! Any driving in poor weather on dirty roads is going to have a sea of mud and grit blasted up against the underside of the bonnet and splattered all around the under bonnet area! These holes need a couple of simple, clip in, moulded plastic covers adding to stop this.
Hopefully it will get complained about enough that MG/SAIC will fit covers, or the aftermarket will no doubt provide at some point. In the mean time, if it's not been actioned when I get mine, I'll be cutting some thin plastic sheet to size and fixing it with some heavy duty vinyl tape as a stop gap.

My iPhone was successfully charging from the usb-c this afternoonHas anyone been able to charge using their usb-c port ?
Yeah, tried that the last few times. But then the car seat doesn't slide back for easier exit / entry...I slide down, power off and than open the door, feels more safe to me personaly.
Get the glass one from China probably tightly fitted as wellThe wind deflector works it way up when driving with the top down. Don't know if it could eventually come off fully. Could do with some sort of clip or similar at the top to hold it in place.
Is this the sound for a change of speed limit or the chime when you're breaking the speed limit? The way that you can disable the speed limit alarms in MG Pilot but they just get reset to active status after every restart is massively annoying. Anyone know a hack for this?
I find that settings done in the central console stay each time to start the car but the ones on the steering wheel reset. The way that you can disable the speed limit alarms in MG Pilot but they just get reset to active status after every restart is massively annoying. Anyone know a hack for this?
