To my understanding its a rear frame and some bushing that is the problem.Have they already tried the steering damper on your car? (Just trying to work out if these parts relate to the damper, which is already known not to work, or relate to the "fix" per the TI document that has been leaked).
The steering damper was an attempt to fix the issue that failed.
As for the steering damper fix I guess so. The dealership I bought it from, Ringwood MG, when asked about the vibe as I knew it was there when I bought the car, said nah it hasnt been done but it will be and should fix it before we deliver the car, which was total BS because I think it was done before I purchased it but it obviously didnt fix the issue!!
And Ferntree Gully MG haven't told me that its hasn't, so they can check what recalls (dampener fix) have been done or not so I would assume if it hadn't they would have let me know!!
The service manger did say to me he has been working on cars for 20 years and as a regular mechanic everything he has learned over the years he has had to unlearn to re learn about electric cars. Put simply electric cars are a whole different ball game vs ICE cars!!
i will also ask about the buckled rim warranty when i pick my car up tomorrow.
Ferntree Gully MG are also trying to fix my software for some reason after the latest update which Ringwood MG (actual place of purchase) haven't even rung me about since took it back a few weeks after I bought the car to fix the navigation!!
The new lane keep assist scroll down 1 button disable didnt work on my car for some reason (almost like the software didnt take or something) but that will be sorted through a new update or software patch!!
Mine is aJune 23 build date so most likely one of the first X powers destined for Australia!!
