Refusing warranty work...

I’ve just had my year 4 (B) service and was conned.
Charged for screen wash when I’d filled it the day before.
Charged for key fob battery replacement - I’d changed the batteries in both fobs 1 month ago and so before I went, I marked the battery. The service invoice said they’d changed it for £8.00. Old battery was still inside the fob! Will go back and demand money back. Temped to report this as fraud, but they’ve lost me as a customer now. BTW it wasn’t a ‘mistake’ as I told the reception guy to write on the Jobsheet that batteries did not need replacing.
Just makes me wonder if anything else was done- tempted to remove and examine the filter, as I didn’t mark it but a new one won’t have 4-years wear…this sort of thing just makes me angry and paranoid that they are all at it…
Only thing I could see that was done was the tyre pressure - had one wheel with a warning light.
Also tempted now to drop MG altogether, as I was going to renew my car with them…
One star reviews coming up…

If you have evidence that the stated parts have not been replaced then go for it. complain and ask for a part refund. TrustPilot is the best place to voice your concerns I have found.
It's not just MG, could be the same issues with any dealership.
