I wonder if that is just a UK thing, or it will be available over here ...... maybe I should do a screen dump and ask them if they are making the same offer ...... dump might not have been the best choice of words there eh ;)

I traded in the Magnette, my wonderful MG5 today. It broke my heart to see it go. OK it’s been reliable, cheap to run and good to drive. But what really broke my heart, as a stereotypical Scot, was seeing it go with the battery half full.
I burned my bloody lips trying to syphon some charge back out. No one’s ever mentioned that in the safety instructions 😡

I have dreams about still owning some of mine.
Most of these are nightmares for me, still wonder why I held onto some of them for so long, sort of like a poker machine, you've invested all your hard earned money into it .... if you walk away now you won't get any of it back .... so you reach into the pocket and pull out that money you saved to buy something better
It's not until if breaks down a long way from home, you do the financial calculations ..... and remove anything that might connect you to being the person who abandoned it ..... and walk away ..... all the time thinking, if only I'd done this the first time, I'd own that better car now

My first car was the worst a 900cc Triumph Herald. Lots of problems with the rear end, but it was fun to drive, 4 on the floor all synchro compared to the Holden, 3 on the stick, with only 2nd and 3rd synchro.
I never abandoned any of them, but maybe didn't get much trade in price on some.
It's probably got something to do with the times you spent with them. Mainly surfing and romantic adventures, very pleasant memories.
