Hi All,
Now that a cold spell has arrived, I wonder how you are finding the car in terms of driving, comfort etc.
I completed a 300km round trip the other day with a 6am start and temperatures of minus 2.5. Not extreme I know but enough to leave a few skittish patches here and there. In terms of window defrosting, the iSmart app threw up a disclaimer about checking local by laws etc. and wouldn't play ball. I hadnt time to play around with it, so I just went for the ice scrapper. The after market wireless Android Auto adapter was also playing up. The climate control in the car was miles better than my previous car (Clio), with the car staying nice and cosy and keeping the windows clear. The combustion engine was kicking in a lot and revving a bit higher, but travel was smooth. The tyres coped reasonably but I d still be wary of their ability so I drove in a manner to compensate for them.
The halogen lights on the SE were OK but not a patch on the leds on the Clio. A warning re the front facing collision avoidance etc. not being operative also flashed up on the screen, presumably because of some frost over the camera.
All in all, it was a comfortable place to be.
