D2 Coilovers for xpower ?

Just had a look...that one is not the US based D2 Racing (d2racing.com) but a Chinese brand (d2-race.com) that seems to have copied the same purple accents and 36 way damping.

There's a couple people who have installed the H&R springs now (not coilovers) -

Ill wait till BC racing brings coils out. Lowering springs are too limiting.

You might be waiting then. I've always found H&R lowering springs to be perfect.
Don't go lower than 30mm with just springs, and you'll be fine. 🙂👍
What do you mean by too limiting? 🤔

Have you got them on your MG4? If so what do you think, is the ride much stiffer? I assume there's less body roll

Nope, not yet. But had H&R springs on at least 6 cars, inc Focus ST, Civic Type R,
Fabia VRS. etc etc. The ride didn't feel much stiffer. Less body roll, negligible.
Probably was a tad better as it's lower and stiffer, but don't expect miracles. Lowering springs are mostly fitted for aesthetic reasons anyway. Which is particularly needed on the X Power. 🙂👍

I had Eibach springs on my Polestar 2 and they were great, they don't go as low as H&R and the progressive spring rate isn't as stiff. So it was a good balance between performance and comfort. One thing I didn't like was the lower clearance cracked my front third party mudguards, because I have a dip in my driveway

BC said if theres interest they'll make 'em. Makes business sense. Would love to see what could be done with some camber, coils and softer front sway. And saic need to open the fun button, as in, let me run RWD mode with 180kW and TC and nannies off.
